Erin & Rob .. Relaxed

Erin & Rob are 2 "relaxed" people. Talking to them I found myself be unordinary calm (normally I`m a spaz). I was referred to them by another FANTASTIC couple I photographed last year. Shellane & Dean. I still talk to Shellane and do the Facebook thing with her. Anyway, we met up in Thornton Park near Lake Eola on what was an extremely beautiful day.

Rob, an accountant was in his "relaxed" look (no tie) had some fun w/ that one. As we discussed we will share a few beers come wedding day so we can all loosen up and have some fun!.
While talking I found out that Erin once lived in Alaska BRRRR!!!! ...cold, to cold. Ironically my next door neighbor just moved there a few days ago. I hear it is one of the most BEAUTIFUL places on earth. Just to cold for me. Erin, although modest, is extremely photogenic, the camera just loves her natural beauty. Together they make a fashion magazine couple. I can only imagine what their wedding day pictures are going to look like. They are getting Married in March at Leu Gardens. A beautiful setting for a wedding and a natural light wonder for wedding images.

See you soon,

Mead Garden wedding 2/7/09

Erlande & Ricardo got married in Winter Park at Mead Gardens. From the 1st time we meet on their engagement session I felt an instant liking to both of them. W/o question 2 of the easiest people to like. They are in love and it shows in the way the respect each other. And how can you not be affected by their smiles. We had a great time I thank you both for making my "job" enjoyable.

The wedding was a blast w/ some GREAT!!! music from the DJ who had a nice selection of "old skool" that I found myself grooving to. Erlande`s Sorority sisters were all present to help celebrate which was a very sweet moment to witness the friendship between them all.

I got to meet some great people at the wedding as well 2 of which are another GREAT! couple Rose & Welby who will be getting married in March. And with much apperception to Erlande and Ricardo who referred me I will have the pleasure of being their photographer as well.

Thank again,
SC

Todays NEW Lingo...Too Funny, It time for change

Funny how times change, Sayings change, styles change and even "lingo". What was once cool (vanilla Ice/ MC Hammer) ok maybe not is now passé or funny. This week I was reading a magazine where I saw them refer to their blog writing or lack there of as BS`r or BS`n... I know what your thinking, but nooooooo it`s not that.

It`s blog slackin or blog slacker...how funny is that. I`m not sure how long this will last, but it fits me so very well. I am a HUGE fan of all pop culture and find it fascinating from different era how much things change and how quickly they fall out of being "cool". Today it seems that everybody has a blog or is on Facebook (which I just joined) if you want to connect or become a fan please let me know, Then we have myspace, twitter and a new one I saw called 12 seconds... etc. I visit them all, but find it very hard to do it every single day or even more then 1-2 times a week. I know many photographers that make it a religion to Blog 4-5 times a week. Anyway, it is a phenomenon that I am going to see how long "blogging" is the "cool" thing.

Do you remember when emailing was "cool" now it`s so yesterday!. Texting is it for me these days, although I still prefer the old fashion telephone, you know with rotary dial...LOL who remembers those phones.

Hey, I think I will make it a 2 blog week/ a facebook update and throw in a tweet for fun.

Until next time...(later this week)

Tracy & Will getting married April 2009

Ever see a couple that just from looking at them interact act you can feel the love. This is one of those. From to moment Tracy stepped out of the car I watched Will open the door and cover Tracy from the rain and lots of it. We were scheduled to meet well in advance, but wouldn`t you know it was pouring rain the whole day. And rather then re-schedule we decided to go for it. We were limited as to where we can photograph due to the heavy down pour. So most of it took place under awnings. Taking place in Centennial Park in Winter Garden which is quite the place to get some fantastic images. I will be visiting that location again for sure.

Thanks for a great time. Can`t wait for your wedding.
