A Magic Affair: Christine & Brian E-session

Christine and Brian are 2 awesome people. And, I get the strong feeling they are deeply in Love with each other...LOL Of course they are thats why their getting Married in March.

They fact that they both trusted in me to be their wedding photographer and that they feel the same way about their wedding photography and how important it is to them is what keeps me fresh and continuing to try new things.

The camera, as you are going to see Loves this couple. Christine's eyes are spectacular and tell a story, while Brian may have the greatest smile on a guy, Ever!

I also want to shout out a VERY VERY special thanks to them for showing myself and my son a few phenomenal times with the Orlando Magic. Which is who Brian works for and was kind enough to have us attend a training camp and a Bulls game even sitting court side for warmups. what an experience and the smile on my sons face was priceless.

Beautiful Times: North Carolina & Savannah

Good times are always had with friends and Family. This year was the 1st that I can remember not being here for Christmas. Normally, we spend it at my In laws house with anywhere from 40-80 people. But, this year most everybody decided it was time to change things up and go elsewhere. While some went skiing in Utah, other went to DC, some went to the Philippines. We, stayed a little closer in North Carolina and Savannah. It was my 1st time in Savannah and what a FANTASTIC place. I will be back there very soon, I hope.

My Kids saw Snow for the 1st time which was worth everything and the got to take a ride on thePolar Express, went Gem stone hunting and rode down mountains on an inner tube. Had snow ball fights and Tumbles in the snow. Waterfalls that we walked under while FREEZING out toes off. Why, just because. Countless smiles and tons of Laughter.

We stayed in Sapphire Valley (boring) after 1 night we split to Asheville (rockin) and awesome

If you ever get the chance to go to the Biltmore House in NC....GOOOOOO. Plan on spending at least half a day at it. Don't bother bring a camera inside they police it like the White house. I tried to sneak a few, but not to many.

WAYYYY to many pics to post. And, you can say it. My kids are cute. They get their good looks from ME!

Today was a great day to end this fantastic holiday season. We just got back from North Carolina and the amazing Savannah which I will hopefully blog soon. Spent time with family and just relaxed. This was the 1st time in a VERY long time I have been able to just forgot about "work", for the most part...LOL and enjoy! the moment.

And, Today,I told my kids since they are soooo good and I absolutely love them with every ounce of my being. I told them I would teach them a new trick...Levitation!. Of course they didn't believe me. Well, they NOW know who the boss is. They thought is was my wife, but with Magical powers like this.... They NOW KNOW who is BOSS. I am going to tell them if they don't keep theirs rooms clean the next trick will be to Disappear.

Also, PLEASE know I will be getting back into the swing of things this week and will answer all emails as I get to them.

Karen & Elias: Annunciation Church Wedding pt 1

Okay, I have become very familiar with Annunciation Church This year as you may know I have done a few wedding there. 2 in the same day.

So, When I found out Karen and Elias where having their ceremony here I couldn't be happier. It is a beautiful church. And alwalys gives us beautiful images.

Karen & Elias had a ton of close family and friends. Elias, is Filipino and, well, had a ton of guests fly all the way from the Philippines. It was just a great day. This was my 1st time at the Hilton in Altamonte near Uptown and was pleasantly surprised at just how incredible it was. The staff was extremely accommodating and everything fell into place perfectly.

This day went on as scheduled and as always a pleasure to work with the girls at PLANIT Event and Design. They are on my top of the list for wedding planners. Without question you need to check them out.

I think you will agree the Karen & Elias are SLIGHTLY photogenic. Stay tuned for part 2. I want to thank you both for making me fell so welcome. I wish you both the very best.

Courtyard At Lake Lucerne Wedding

Ahhhh, The Courtyard of Lake Lucerne & The beauty of a wedding. I love what I do and the ability to be creative week after week. Even when I shoot at the same venues I always try to be more creative, Find new and different angles. And, then throw in Mother nature, fall/winter weddings when it gets dark waaayyyy to early. Wedding Photography is a challenge. And I am up for it.

Well, for this wedding Erika and Manny were in great spirits {as usual} even a few drops of rain brought a nice aurora to the day. But, it was Mother nature that made me "think" more.

These two are in a word "relaxed". And, just a pat of each other. It was a special day and celebrated by the closest of friends and family. Many, had one of his groomsmen came all the way from Hong Kong. Now, that is a commitment to friendship.

PLEASE notice Manny wearing a bag over his head...HILARIOUS! I was photographing the girls indoors due to the rain at first and Manny was upstairs trying to get downstairs without seeing Erika in her dress. So, here he comes with the Dillards bag covering him up...Toooo funny. And a 1st for me.

You both are terrific and I wish you both the best. Now, let's take a look at a few from the day.

Jamie, Peter & Kermit: what a great Name

Jamie and Peter are expecting their 1st child whose name will be (Kermit). You can thank Peter for that.....Okay, just kidding, Well I hope i am. According to Jamie, Kermit is the name Peter wants to go with, but, Peter is quite a jokster. So, He will probably have a more normal name like "Stone"...LOL

Anyway, Jamie and Peter were referred to me from Leigh Ann & Geoff a great couple I will be photographing Next year. I will be posting that e-session sometime early next year.

Omni at Champions Gate: Amy & Jonathan

Amy & Jonathan are each unique. Traditional and Non-traditional at the same time. Being Jewish and according to tradition vows must be after sunset so in the middle of November it gets dark at 6pm and not very good for wedding pictures. So, the Non traditional part of them agreed to do a 1st look and see each other prior to the ceremony. And, what a great decision that was. We were able to get some really beautiful images and keep in mind it is pretty dark to the human eye....But, they look GREAT!

Take a look at the images of the ceremony in the dark. I think you will agree they look pretty good for not using flash.

Jonathan, I appreciate your humor. You are quite funny and I greatly appreciate you BOTH for trusting me in this with the photography.

This was a beautiful day at the Omni at Champions Gate. Every time I do a wedding there I find new angles and different spots to give each couple something unique to them.

These were tough

WHY, is it sooooo hard to take my kids pictures. I do not have this much stress on any other families or even weddings. BUT when it comes to my own kids...Forget about it..

I will say my Daughter does love the camera and really a joy. So, that leaves one to believe I am speaking about my son. Yes, correct. He, is fine with anyone else taking his pic...But, not when it's me. I love them more then anything on the planet. But, a cruel joke to have a photographers son hating to have his picture taken... But, like any parent knows a little bribery goes along way.

The 2nd image really shows their personalities. My son LOVES to always joke around and my girl, the model and always ready to pose for the camera.

Oh well, I am asking Santa for a bag of patience.

Mother Nature and Weddings: Vanessa & Senly

All weddings are beautiful. But, sometimes things don't go as planned. This was an incredible day that even a full day of rain could not spoil. Vanessa, who is extremely beautiful and LOVES to be in front of the camera did not disappoint. While pouring rain we were still able to get some incredible images that were all indoors.

Luckily, Vanessa and Senly decided to do a ((first look))... Senly, as you can see is Handsome guy, so together this is a couple that is hard to take your eyes off of.

This is the 5th wedding I photographed from a referral of a couple I photographed a few years ago. It was funny to see a couples that I photographed at this wedding now as guests. I an ALWAYS honored and flattered to receive this.

Annunciation Church 2 in a day (continued) pt 1

A couple of weeks ago I posted a wedding at this same church. Ironically I had to weddings at the same church on the same day by 2 beautiful brides that never met. The odds of this happening is like winning powerball.

Well, Here is Paula & Jefery who was actually my 1st ceremony of the day. Lasting only about 1 hour. Paula, use to live in Orlando for a short while before moving back to Miami. So, she felt compelled to have one of the ceremonies here before redoing it again In Miami. They are both really comfortable in front of the camera.

Something a little different

Sometimes I must admit that some sessions are more exciting then others. And, I am not talking about my couples. Many times it is about the location that really gets me excited. This is one of those locations. I have never had the pleasure to do a session on anything like this before. So, it was a first for me. Rebecca and Grant will be getting married on Rebecca's family Ranch that is over 2,000 acres....It was incredible to be so close to horses, cattle, and deer.

The wedding will be in a Barn for that beautiful country/antique feel. I am sooooo looking forward to their wedding day when there will be 300-400 people in attendance.

Annunciation Church: 2 weddings 1 Day

Let's start off by saying I would NEVER shoot two full weddings on the same day!. It just so happened that my 1st wedding was ceremony only! and Ironically, the one Before Chantal & Marcos.

Chantal & Marco, are 2 people you enjoy talking to. Marco has a great sense of Humor, which was demonstrated at the ceremony when Chantal Father handed her to Marco. Marco, with his hand slipped Chantals father a Million dollar bill in it. It got a few Laughs, BUT nothing from the day was as funny or more memorable then Chantals Father Speech at the reception. I have to say it is without question the best and funniest I have ever heard from a father or anyone else for that matter.

Both Marco & Chantal are 2 people you DO NOT want to eat pizza in front of {BTW my FAV food of all time} They are fitness instructors and when I say in INCREDIBLE shape that might be a serious understatement...LOL. I felt horrible drinking my Starbucks coffee in front of them..

Annunciation Church has become very popular with me these days. And, some might say Ironic. What are the chances of having 2 ceremonies at the same church from 2 different brides that never met....In my case, it's 100%. Long story short (well it wont be once I post the other wedding). Chantal & Marco were to be married at a different Church, but things changed and well, we all ended up at Annunciation Church. BTW the other Bride lives in Miami....WOW!

I will be back later this month for yet another beautiful Wedding at this same Church..

Reception was at the Rosen Centre Hotel and really a great place for a reception.

The Ritz Carlton Grande lakes Wedding

I was so excited for the wedding of Kristina and James. They are just 2 fantastic people who are easy to talk to and fun to be around. Kristina loves the camera and the Camera loves Kristina. James, is a bit more reserved, until you mention Golf, Then Game on and he lights up. On this day just @ 30 mns prior to the wedding starting outdoors it started to rain cats and dogs and with about 250 guests in attendance it was quite a feat to move everything indoors in very little time.

Kristina and James rolled with it and knew it was more about the the exchanging of vows that Mother nature could not affect. Almost all images had to be done indoors and as far as the reception, well, Everybody had a GREAT time and the MC was hilarious.

I always like to photograph weddings at the Ritz Carlton because even on days with bad weather you can still have beautiful images.

You both are special and I thank you for this honor.

Define Yourself: High School Senior Photography

Miami to Orlando and Back....

A few days ago I was able to meet up with Paula and Jefery to do their Engagement session. While Paula use to live in Orlando she decided to move back down South to be closer to Jefery. Which is were they will be Married for the 2nd time to each other, Yes, the 2nd time, It's not what you think. It will be the 1st time to each other on Oct 1st. and then the 2nd time on October 14th. They are going to have 2 ceremonies. One here in Just a few days in front of a small number of friends and Family and then in Front of a Bigger crowd in Miami.

These 2 are so comfortable with each other and it shows. Both were spectacular in front of the camera and they have admitted to watching ANTM (Americas Next top Model) which proves that you can learn from TV...LOL

Rollins College Knowles Chapel Wedding

Warning: To Many pictures to post. This is an all in one. With some FANTASTIC ones left for another post down the road. But, for now.....Let's focus (no pun intended) On Tayler and Garrett's day.

What a great day for a wedding even though it was Raining and not much Sun. Perfect for a Wedding. Well, At last at Knowles Chapel. It is such an incredible Church to be married at.

Tayler & Garrett are 2 special people and made for each other. The love that they share is undeniable. The Bridal party was also to be commended. They were all the best and respected the time we had so that even with the weather we were able to get some awesome images.

Interlachen Country Club is a well hidden but gorgeous place for a reception. And this would not dissapoint. By this time the skies cleared and the party was about to start.

Special Thanks to Susie at Wonderful Weddings. One of the Premiere Wedding planners in Orlando. She was there to make sure everything was perfect and Kept Tayler from getting wet in the rain. No that is something..

Strength, My Strength

And, my Weakness. I cannot express how much I LOVE my kids. They give me so much strength that is from the inside, At the same time a vulnerability to "give in" and not be so strong on the outside. Having kids gives me a new sense of strength. Someone once said. "it doesn't take a man to make a baby. It takes a Man to raise one." How Strong is that?

I don't post a lot of personal things especially of my kids. But, sometimes i figure, what the heck. Especially since there sooooo cute.

Am so Proud of both my kids. They as so completely different and yet, similar in many ways. Caring, loving, fun to be around, My Son is a typical boy. My Girl is a TRUE girly girl.

Check out his Physique, He reminds me of Olive Oil from Popeye. I will share some of my Daughter soon, since I feel unbalanced without sharing her cuteness.

Paradise Cove Wedding pt2: The Glam Session

Last week I posted the Ceremony. Here are a few from the Portrait session. I also want to point out that Heather & Dustin opted to see each other prior to the ceremony. Now, I understand that this is not an option for a lot of you, And I respect that ass well, but I cannot tell you how MUCH I LIKE this. It has soooooo many benefits that it would take me to long to list them here, BUT for all you brides considering it. PLEASE let's talk about it.

Anyway, we mixed it up between daylight and night time and got some really beautiful images. Within a few days of getting Married Heather & Dustin moved to Virginia where Dustin is in the Military.

When I first met Karen & Elias I can tell we would get along just fine. They are both easy going, not shy, easy to talk to and BOTH can rock the camera. Elias has an incredibly Infectious smile and Karen takes a page from Tyra Banks when it comes to "modeling" in front of the camera.

I am looking forward to their wedding soon. But, for now take a look at the E-session.
