A Big Ol' Florida Country Wedding for Rebecca & Grant

Let's start this off with one word "AMAZING". Will get to more of that later. When I 1st met Rebecca and her Mother we hit it off instantly. She expressed that she also has an interest in Photography which sometimes gets me a little nervous when another photographic eye is "critiquing" my work to see if it is worthy of their wedding day. But, I made it (yay!) out of several other choices and trust me I was stoked.. Rebecca smile and eyes are incredible and I knew I wanted to photograph her and Grants wedding day. As we got more into the discussion, Rebecca told me that the wedding would take place on their family ranch of like 3,000 acres. Yes, it was on a ranch that belongs to Rebecca family since she was born.

While they exchanged their vows in the Church that Rebecca family has gone to since she was a little girl. With over 300 guests attending very few churches could accommodate that. So, what did they do?, Well, they had a tent attached to the church with closed circuit TV so all could see.

For the reception, Rebecca's Mother said 'Let's build a Barn to house everybody". And, if i remember correctly with 1 month there it was. And it was INCREDIBLE. Details were off the hook, Lighting and Entertainment was insane with Kristin from Our DJ Rocks and a live band. Oh, thats right, they built the stage for the band the DAY OF the wedding. Nothing like stressing of last minute details. What a night of fantastic food and a dance floor that was filled most of the time....

We had a TON of images, but these are just a few. We still have an "After Session" that should take place in the next few months.

Thank you to Rebecca & Grant as well has Reba (Rebecca Mother). You are "special" in soooo many ways. You made us feel very welcome. Reba, you could easily be a wedding coordinator. If you don't mind stress...LOL

BTW, I helped Rebecca purchase an AWESOME camera and well, switched her from Canon (evil empire) to Nikon!!!!. She is not only extremely talented, but will probably give me a little competition in the wedding market very soon.

Lastly, the Bride & Groom dressed Lego looking figures as you entered the reception were hay bails about 15-20 feet tall....VERY COOL

I also need to let you know I had A TON of Time with the girls so we got plenty of images as Rebecca as you know LOVES photography....Awesome for all of us!.

The Portraits Of Rebecca and Grant will be soon...

Until next Time,
SC
